Meet The Hosts

Colin White
Hey there, my name is Colin and I am a self proclaimed wine nerd/enthusiast. I started my wine journey after my first trip to Napa. Up to that point, I hadn’t been introduced to much wine besides the really cheap stuff you can get at the grocery store. But boy I’ll tell ya, that trip really opened up my eyes to what can be in the magical world of wine.
I got bored during the pandemic and completed the WSET (Wine and Spirits Education Trust) level 2 certification in wine. In the hierarchy of wine knowledge, it’s about the equivalent to a high school diploma so I am in no way an expert but I got the basics down.
I love introducing people to great wine and I hope we are able to find a couple bottles you will love here on the podcast.

Joel Ladoniczki
Well hello! My name is Joel. I’ve been a …let’s say “casual-yet-informed” wine drinker/enjoyer for a few years now. To be honest, soon out of college I got very into breweries and for the most part, my adult beverage consumption consisted mostly of craft beers. Slingin IPA’s is delicious, but also very heavy and unforgiving for the waist line….this is what pushed me into the wine world.
It took a bit to get the lay of the land, but I eventually learned the basics and got to a point where I could describe what I do and don’t like…a good place to start. I’ve since found an amazing local wine shop (full of very knowledgeable but not snooty experts) and made some wine focused trips to Sonoma California and Reims France which have only galvanized my interest and appreciation for the craft of wine making, and all the amazing varietals that are out there to explore.
So, leave your reservations behind and join me in learning about and, more importantly, enjoying some delicious wine!

Aaron Chilelli
Hi folks, my name is Aaron and I am by far the least knowledgeable when it comes to wine. I enjoy a good drink, but have mostly stuck with beer or bourbon most of the time. As a 37 year old man, I feel like this was the most original choice… that being said, I have always enjoyed a good glass of wine and have always wanted to be able to speak about it with a little more confidence.
When Colin approached me about being on this podcast, it seemed like a no brainer – a chance to have a scheduled convo with two of my best buddies, learn a little more about wine, and act as the voice of confusion to move the conversation forward? Yes please.
